Taylor Swift's new hair style is totally bangin'. Meaning the 21-year-old songstress who was just named Billboard's Woman of the Year, now has bangs.

On Thursday (Dec. 1), Swift posted a picture of her spontaneous cut to Twitter. The new style is a little more layered and face-framing. We like it and are busy calculating how long it will take to grow our hair out so we can pathetically attempt to copycat the 'do. (Answer: Two years, by which time we will have moved on to stalking a different celeb's cut.)

So why the sudden change?

"She got it cut on a shoot," a source tells E! Online. "She just decided to go for it! Very fun!"

In other Swifty news, the singer is reportedly in contention to play Eponine in the film production of "Les Miserables."
